The studio
A small team that does the whole job.
Arena Dream Factory is a software studio built on a simple bet: that a handful of senior engineers who talk to each other beat a large team that talks through documents.
We work in small numbers on purpose. Every person on a project has context on the whole system, which is why decisions get made in hours instead of sprints, and why nothing gets lost in a handover between a "design team" and a "delivery team". There is no account manager relaying your question to someone else.
The name is not an accident. An arena is where the work is tested in the open. Dream is the part the client brings — the thing that does not exist yet. Factory is the discipline that turns it into something that runs on a Tuesday morning without anyone watching it.
We take on a small number of engagements at a time. That is a constraint, not a sales tactic: it is the only way to keep the attention per project high enough to be worth what it costs.
Working together
Three ways to engage us.
Whichever shape it takes, the contract includes IP assignment, an NDA and the right to stop at a cycle boundary.
Shaped project
Fixed price per phase
Defined outcome, defined envelope. Best when the problem is clear enough to be written down in a brief.
- New product build
- Rebuild or migration
- A specific hard subsystem
Monthly partnership
Retainer
A predictable slice of senior capacity every month, embedded in your team and your process.
- Ongoing roadmap
- Team augmentation
- Long-lived platform work
Audit & advisory
One to three weeks
We read the system and hand you a written report with options, costs and risks attached to each.
- Technical due diligence
- Performance or cost problem
- Second opinion before a rewrite
What we hold to
The standing commitments.
Estimates come with assumptions
A number without the assumptions behind it is a guess dressed up as a commitment. Ours are written down, and when an assumption breaks we tell you the same week — not at the deadline.
The boring parts are the job
Backups, migrations, error handling, logging, the fourth edge case nobody wants to talk about. That is where software actually fails, so that is where we spend the attention.
Simple until proven otherwise
No distributed system where a single process will do, no framework added to solve a problem you do not have yet. Complexity has to earn its place by removing more pain than it adds.
You should be able to fire us
Standard tooling, documented decisions, no proprietary layer in the middle. If you ever move the work in-house or elsewhere, it should be an ordinary Tuesday.
Arena Dream Factory LLC is a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA, formed in March 2024. The studio works remote-first, with hours arranged around each engagement rather than a single office clock.
Next step
One call, one written brief, no invoice.
If what you need is clear, we will shape it. If it is not clear yet, that is exactly what the first conversation is for.
